I-797C, Notice of Action

We received our biometric fingerprint appointment notice in the mail today! We are one step closer to our daughter. We are still waiting on our home study. We are also waiting to receive our foster-adopt license. We must have that license before our home study can be approved by DCFS.

So much waiting. I'm trying to learn to be patient, but it is not easy. This is such a long journey and we have only just begun. We have many months to go before we can meet the newest member of our family. I'm going to go find some chocolate now...
