Something to Consider

I received something interesting in the mail today, but it was not the I171H! Rather, it is a packet that was put together by YWAM's Adoption Ministry regarding their Orphan and Widows' Homes. We began the pursuit of adoption because we believed it was something God wanted us to do. And while our particular adoption will not change the world, it will change the life of one child. And that life is more than worth it! We have considered as time has gone on, however, what we might continue to do in the months and years after we bring our daughter home. That is one reason why we wanted to adopt through YWAM's program. We really love the work they are doing and can easily offer our support to their ministry. They are making such a difference in the lives of the poor in Ethiopia who have no other hope. If anyone has an interest in helping to sponsor a YWAM orphanage on a monthly basis, please let me know. I would like to get a group together to do exactly that. YWAM makes it easy, too - you can have a donation automatically placed on your credit card or deducted from your checking account each month.
