Chicago

We just returned from a long weekend in which we spent a couple of days at Papa and Grandma's house and a couple of days in downtown Chicago.  That was our vacation.  I believe it is important to make memories and we definitely made some over the weekend.  One that stands out in my mind is a certain little girl who might have had a moment of claustrophobia at Pizzeria Due (I had one myself and felt her pain) and may have screamed at the top of her lungs and required a time out in the bathroom.  Hence, the other reason for the brief vacation... Truly, when the boys are satisfied shopping Michigan Avenue (read Niketown and the Cubs Store), eating junk food, and hanging out at the hotel pool, there really is little reason to venture beyond the borders of the great state of Illinois with an almost two year old.  We have great plans for something more exciting next year, but we'll see how that goes...

That is one big chocolate bar!  They were handing out samples of Hershey Drops and I found

them to be quite enjoyable.

THEY HAVE A CHICK FIL A THAT JUST OPENED!!  We didn't have to go to the south to eat it. 

Sena was so happy about that!

We stayed at the Embassy Suites where our second night was FREE because of some construction being done right by our room.  Woo hoo!

We went on an architectural boat tour of the city.  It was pretty awesome, though Sena was not a big fan.
