Independence Day

July 4 was especially significant in our house this year - it was Sena's first as an American citizen and as a member of our family.

We started off the day with a bit of Ethiopian music

Just taking it easy

All decked out for the festivities

With Aleigha and Grace - it was their first 4th of July, too

Sweet girls - Sena refused to look at the camera

Older brothers keeping an eye on their younger siblings

Sena LOVED the fireworks!!  We weren't going to go since they start well after her bedtime, but we caved and were glad we did (until the grouchies hit today, that is...)

She kept hitting me and saying, "Mommy Mommy Mom..."  I've never seen her quite so excited!

"Look!!"

Watching the display

Good times!
