Good news and bad news

I had a whole blog post prepared with pictures and I will post it soon.  In the meantime, I am so happy to announce that we are officially parents to our sweet Sena.  We are so thankful to God for this incredible gift.  At the same time, my heart is heavy for the other families who were in the same situation as us who did not pass court today for reasons that remain quite vague.  It has been wonderful to walk alongside these other adoptive families and while I am so thankful that our case is complete, I know very well how it feels when things don't proceed as expected.  Will you pray with me for the other YWAM families who continue to wait and trust in God's perfect timing?  He is faithful and I can't wait to see what He will do. 

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Romans 8:28  And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
