There are 7 families represented here. One family was missing two of their children and another just passed court yesterday in ET for their daughter!
Sena might be marrying up with one of these two...I like them both, so I'll let her choose...
Ava is my friend Tracy's daughter
As usual, anywhere there is a cell phone or iPod - there she is!
If you read the post about the little blue dress back in May, this is Anna who shares the same birthday as Sena.
She has mastered the blowing out of the birthday candle.
Pinata time!!
Everyone lined up for a turn...
...unfortunately, the piece of junk broke, but not in the way it was supposed to. The handle broke and it dropped to the ground - intact. One savvy boy (OWEN!) grabbed it and took off running to the backyard with the whole crew chasing after him. They weren't going to miss out on candy. They ripped it apart and soon the candy was unevenly distributed and there were some sad children. Fortunately, some of the children shared their candy with the sad children and everyone lived happily ever after.
A birthday hug with Liza
Daddy's girl is officially TWO!
The best part of the night was the gifts! Instead of a present, we asked our friends, if they felt so inclined, to bring a donation for the YWAM widows and orphans home instead. Well, inclined they were! We'll be sending a nice check to YWAM this week to help support the homes that gave Sena such an amazing start.
