Yesterday Sena received a surprise in the mail (thank you Dawn!) Check out her adorable headband below and I'll tell you more about it in a momentito.
The girl loves to climb. Her favorite activity lately involves getting a cup out of the upper cabinet and then getting water from the fridge. She can accomplish this feat in record time, too.
She has become a fan of this baby. We sent this to her for her birthday last year and she hasn't wanted much to do with it - until lately. Please ignore the turkey in her mouth in this picture (though it does thrill me that the girl who had been avoiding meat has now embraced it. Hello protein!)
Kisses!
Ethan's Junior Football season is underway and Sena is a big fan. She really gets into the whole clapping thing.
Ethan is the one with one purple sock and one gold sock.
Number 84. Sena would go up and rattle the fence and yell, "Etie!" I think it is sweet that he takes the time to turn around and wave to her and doesn't seem at all embarrassed by it.
And now back to the headband. I have written before about Living Hope maternity home in Ethiopia - they are doing amazing work with unwed mothers and teaching them skills that so that they can eventually support themselves and their children. The headband above is one example of the items they have been creating. In order to sell these items here in the States (and subsequently help support the home and the women in Ethiopia), Party with a Purpose has been created. I am looking forward to hosting one later this fall.
