One year later

Tonight, we had dinner with the Streitmatters to celebrate one year since we took custody of our girls (a day early, but still on MLK day!)  So much has changed in just one year's time.

These two little stinkers have moved on up from their days of playing in the toilet at the Addis Guest House...

...they're reading about Clifford and Dora...

...and having lots of fun with their siblings!

One year ago, our little girls knew nothing about having a family.  It is hard to even imagine that now.  Our amazing God took a painful circumstance and transformed it into something incredibly beautiful.  We are so grateful for the opportunity that we have been given to watch His plan unfold in the lives of these sweet little girls. 

This was taken just before we left the transition home.  Our journey to our girls was over and a whole new journey was about to begin!
