Pins and Needles

This week we should find out if we will be able to travel for our anticipated embassy date.  It seems that the embassy has been requesting additional information lately and quite a few families have been delayed as their various agencies gather the requested documents.  We continue to pray that all is in order for us to travel as planned.  The roller coaster continues!

We had a very nice Christmas.  We enjoyed time with both sides of our family.  Ever since we have been married, we have enjoyed Christmas dinner with both John's family and my family.  It is fun to have everyone together.  There was a lot of talk of the new little one who should be with us soon.  There are so many people anxiously awaiting her arrival, including these guys:

We took down our tree this morning because it was losing so many needles, but this one will stay up until little Miss comes home:

The gifts under the tree are waiting just for her.  We're hoping she can open them on Ethiopian Christmas!
